Nepal's royal Government today (Apr 22, 2006) imposed a new eight-hour curfew in the capital where the pro-democracy protestors have been demonstrating against King
Gyanendra's rule for over two weeks.
The announcement of the new curfew by the state-run NepalTelevision came as the opposition seven-party alliance's general strike entered the 17th day today.
