Muzaffarnagar: The Election Commission yesterday (Apr 24, 2006) issued notice to Anuradha Choudhary, an MP from Kairana and Rashtriya Lok Dal General Secretary, on the office of profit issue.

This followed a complaint by a lawyer to the Election Commission seeking Choudhary's disqualification on the ground that she was holding the office of profit as Chairperson of the UP Irrigation Development Commission. Choudhary had been asked to file her reply by May 12, official sources said.
