CBI raids six residential premises of Chautala Thursday, May 4 2006 10:23 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

The CBI today (May 4, 2006) raided six residential premises of former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala across the state in connection with a disproportionate assets case, official sources said here.
The raids were carried out at six places in Sirsa -the native place of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leader, Fatehabad and Chandigarh, the sources said.
Chautala is away to the US for treatment. His son Ajay Chautala, who is the party's Secretary General, confirmed from the US that the CBI sleuths carried out the raids. However, he said he was not aware in what connection the probe agency raided their premises.
"Though I was scheduled to return on May 10, due to this development, I would return earlier," he told sources on phone.
