New Delhi: The full Election Commission is leaving for Kashmir next week to attend the conference of the State Election Commissioners to be held on May 16.

Chief Election Commissioner B B Tandon and his twoother collegues N Gopalaswami and Navin Chawla would address the poll officials from the states, EC sources said here today (May 11, 2006).

"The previous conference was held in Hyderabad in April 2005," they said.

Among other issues, the day-long conference is expected to deliberate upon the various issues such as use of electronic voting machnies, its popularisation and updating of electoral rolls.
