New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi today (May 15, 2006) asked the government to keep the prices of essential commodities under check.

Party sources said that Gandhi gave this advice while addressing the General Body meeting of the Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP), its valedictory meeting in the budget session of Parliament which will conclude on May 23.
