Hurriyat moderate faction not to attend PM's meet

Srinagar: The moderate faction of Hurriyat Conference led by Mirwaiz Umer Farooq today (May 22, 2006) decided to keep away from the second round table conference being convened here by the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on May 24-25. "It was unanimously decided not to attend the roundtable conference," Mirwaiz told reporters after a meeting of the amalgam at Hurriyat headquarters here.

However, he said Hurriyat leaders were willing to meetthe Prime Minister on the sidelines of the conference.
