Tuesday, May 23 2006 11:41 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

New Delhi: The UPA coordination committee is meeting to review the Government's performance over the past two years and plan for the implementation of the Common Minimum Programme.

Attended by almost all leaders of the Left Front, which is extending outside support to the ruling alliance, the meeting began at Prime Minister's Race Course Road residence here.

It is the first meeting of the Coordination panel, a day after the UPA completed two years in office.

UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, RJD chief Lalu Prasad, LJP President Ramvilas Paswan, NCP chief Sharad Pawar, Left leader Prakash Karat and almost all Cabinet ministers were present in the meeting, which is also likely to be discussing the possibility of fuel price hike as indicated by the Prime Minister yesterday.
