Volcker report: Pathak Inquiry summons Antulay

New Delhi: Minorities Affairs Minister A R Antulay has been summoned by the Pathak Inquiry Authority on the Volcker report that named his Congress party as 'illegal' beneficiary of Iraq's oil-for-food programme.

Antulay, who was part of the Congress delegation to Iraq in 2001 under the leadership of former External Affairs K Natwar Singh, is scheduled to appear before the Authority at 4:00 p.m. today, official sources said.

The Authority is examining Andaleeb Sehgal, Directorof Hamadaan Exports and friend of Natwar Singh's son JagatSingh, in connection with his alleged role in Iraq's oil-for-food scam.
