PM regrets Hurriyat's absence in roundtable meet
Thursday, May 25 2006 18:26 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Srinagar: Regretting that the Kashmiri separatist group Hurriyat Conference did not take part in the roundtable conference, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today (May 25, 2006) said he had the 'impression' that they were in favour of taking the dialogue forward.

"I did meet the Hurriyat friends. They came and saw me. I was left with the impression that they wanted to take forward the dialogue, though not with absolute finality," Singh said while addressing a press conference at the end of his two-day visit to the valley.
