SC to hear petition on 93rd Constitutional Amendment

New Delhi: A petition, challenging the 93rd Constitutional Amendment making provisions for extending reservation to socially and economically backward classes in aided and unaided educational institutions, would come up forhearing before the Supreme Court today (May 29, 2006).

The petition, filed by one Shiv Khera, would be heard by a vacation Bench of Justice Arijit Pasayat and Justice L S Panta later in the day.
