Rahul Mahajan likely to be discharged from hospital
Tuesday, June 6 2006 13:12 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

New Delhi: Rahul Mahajan, who was arrested on charges of drug abuse, is likely to be discharged from the Apollo Hospital here today (June 6, 2006), his lawyer said.

According to lawyer Sunil Mittal, there were indications that he will be discharged and handed over to police today itself as doctors were of the opinion that he was fit.

He said future legal action from their side will be decided only after the court's decision.

If handed over, the police will produce Rahul before a Magistrate at the Patiala House court later in the day to seek his custody for interrogation.

Police was also contemplating taking Rahul to a government hospital for check-up before producing him in the court, sources said.
