Mumbai:
A local court today( June 14, 2006) rejected plea of Praveen Mahajan to undergo psychiatric tests to ascertain his mental state when he had allegedly killed his
elder brother and BJP secretary, Pramod Mahajan.
The court also extended his judicial custody till June 28. The magistrate noted that there were no grounds to show that he was mentally unstable and therefore rejected the
petition, saying that it was not maintenable.
The magistrate also rejected Praveen's plea that the court should supervise the investigation as it was 'one-sided'.

investigating agency.

problem, Praveen replied in the negative.
However, Praveen said that he had pain in the head.
The court also rejected Praveen's plea to meet his relatives for 15 minutes' outside the court.
Praveen was attired in white kurta pyjama. This is the third time when the court has rejected Praveen's plea to hold psychiatric tests.
