New Delhi: A Delhi court today (June 19, 2006)recorded the statement of Rahul Malhotra, one of the three persons who accompanied Sahil Zaroo to slain BJP leader Pramod Mahajan's residence, in connection with the Rahul Mahajan drug abuse case.

The statement was recorded by duty Magistrate Chandra Shekhar.

Malhotra was one of the three men who were at the 7 Safdarjung road residence the day drugs were allegedly consumed at the late night party, which led to the death of the late BJP leader's aide Bibek Moitra and left Rahul critically ill.

Of the remaining two men, while Karan Ahuja's statement has been already recorded by the court, Delhi police's application for recording Trishay Khanna's statement will be taken up tomorrow.
