New Delhi: Ousted AIIMS director Dr P Venugopal today (July 6, 2006) filed a petition in the Delhi High Court challenging the abrupt termination of his service by the Government in the wake of his public spat with Union Health Minister A Ramadoss.

Justice Anil Kumar, while admitting the petition posted the matter for hearing today at 2 pm.

Former Union Law Minister Arun Jaitley is expected to argue on behalf of the beleagured director.
