Mumbai: Praveen Mahajan, charged with killing his brother and senior BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, was yesterday (July 12, 2006) remanded to judicial custody till July 17 by a local court.

Praveen could not be produced before the magistrate at the Bhoiwada court due to lack of police personnel and was remanded to custody through video conferencing.

Magistrate B L Waghmare inquired from Praveen whether he had anything to say and he replied that he had not received medical reports of tests conducted on him.
