After being booked under charges of criminal tresspass and impersonation, the trio Yogita, Bina and Imran were granted bail on a personal bond of Rs 25,000 each and a surety of like amount.
"We had received a call about intrusion into the Prime Minister's residence last night after which we detained and interrogated three youngsters. Subsequently, we arrested them earlier in the day for using another name to gain entry into the high-security residence," DCP (New Delhi) Anand Mohan said here.
All the accused were released on bail and investigation into the case was on, he said.
In a breach of security, the trio, in a black luxury car, drew up to the first inner gate near the alighting point at the Prime Minister's Seven, Race Course Residence, after passing through a security cordon at the main gate just before 9:00 PM last night.
Mohan said the vehicle was owned by Yogita, who purchased it three months back.
