United Nations: Condemning the recent wave of suicide attacks in Afghanistan, the UN Security Council has said no terrorist act can reverse the path towards peace in the country.

"The members of the Security Council condemned in the strongest terms the recent suicide bombings in Kabul and other parts of Afghanistan, including the one that killed Abdul Hakim Tanaiwal, the Governor of Paktia province," Council President Ambassador Adamantios Vassilakis of Greece said.
