Kalam to make 3-day visit to TN from September 22 Thursday, September 21 2006 15:32 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam will arrive in Kanyakumari on September 22 on a three-day visit to Tamil Nadu.
An official press release said he would visit the Vivekanda Rock Memorial in Kanyakuamari on September 22 morning.
He would also interact with the students of Vivekanda Kendra school there.
Later, he would leave for Tirunelveli to address the convocation of Manonaniam Sundaranar University.
He would also visit the project site of the atomic power plant coming up at Koodankulam besisdes addressing the members of CII at Tirunelveli.
Kalam will deliver the convocation address of Mother Teresa Women's University at the hill resort town of Kodaikal on Septmebr 23 besides meeting his teacher Bishop Chinnadurai at Dindigul.
He would also visit his native place Rameswaram on that day.
He would address the students of Alagappa University at Karaikudi on Septermber 24 and leave for Thanjavur to inaugurate SASTRA Deemed University's Nano and Biomaterial Centre.
Kalam would wind up his tour after participating in the golden jubilee function of the Poondi Pushpam College before leaving for New Delhi in the evening.
