Jessica Lal case: HC orders sealing of properties
Tuesday, September 26 2006 14:58 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court today (Sept 26, 2006) directed the police to seal the properties of Vikas Gill, an accused in the Jessica Lall murder case, as he has been absconding since his acquittal by a trial court.

A Division Bench headed by Justice R S Sodhi directed the police to take possession of his residential properties in Haryana.

The Bench was hearing an appeal filed by the Delhi Police challenging the acquittal of all the nine accused, including Manu Sharma, son of a former MP, by the trial court earlier this year.
