Baghdad, At least 11 people were killed and 30 injured Wednesday when a suicide car bomber struck a police commando checkpoint outside Baghdad University.

The incident took place in Karradah district, an interior ministry source said. Those killed include four police commandos and seven students. Nine commandos and 21 students were wounded.
