Dense fog leads to flight delays at Delhi Airport Saturday, December 23, 2006 11:00 [IST]
New Delhi: Dense fog at the Delhi airport led to flight delays early this
morning.
The Runway Visibility Range (RVR) at the Indira Gandhi International airport
dipped to 75 metres early this morning forcing activation of CAT-III instrument
landing system.
Pilots trained to operate using the landing system could land their flights
while other flights were delayes, airport sources said. |
