Bush vows to work towards 'free and unified' Iraq Monday, January 01, 2007 11:57 [IST]
Washington: US President George W. Bush said in a New Year
message that the country would continue to work to defeat terrorists and create
a 'free and unified' Iraq
in 2007.
"In the New Year, we will remain on the offensive
against the enemies of freedom, advance the security of our country, and work
toward a free and unified Iraq,"
he said.
The president is currently reviewing US strategy in Iraq and is expected to announce a
change this month. |
