Two LeT militants arrested near railway station Monday, January 01, 2007 11:12 [IST]

As the national capital braced for the New Year eve bash, police today arrested
two suspected Lashker-e-Toiba militants near New Delhi Railway Station.
Samiullah and Ali Mohammed were picked up from Paharganj side of the railway
station, Joint Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Karnal Singh told sources.
He said a bomb disposal squad inspected the luggage recovered from the duo.
The two were arrested barely a kilometer away from Connaught Circus, the
central point of New Year celebrations. |
