Srinagar: As temperatures rise across the country, legislators from several states, including Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand, are making a beeline for the cool climes of the Kashmir valley. An eight-member team from Jharkhand Legislative Assembly is arrivingĀ in Kashmir tomorrow for a five-day study tour, official sources said The team includes chairman, members and officials of the question and call attention committee of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly.Another team of 30 members is arriving on Tuesday from Madhya Pradesh legislative Assembly on a study tour for eight days. They said the team comprises members, their spouses and officials of the committee on welfare of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other backward classes of MP legislative assembly The Question reference committee of the Rajasthan legislative Assembly will join the other team in Leh district of the state from June six for a seven-day visit, the sources said. The 25-member team comprises of the chairman of the committee, members, spouses and officials, they added.
