Millitants who attacked army convoy were LeT men

Srinagar: The two militants who attacked an army convoy yesterday, and were killed in retaliatory action in Baramulla district, have been identified as Pakistani nationals, police said today.

The two militants have been identified as Abu Salam and Abu Shahid and were of the Lashker-e-Toiba outfit.

An army jawan, a police constable and two militants were killed and five others, all securitymen were injured in the encounter at Sheeri yesterday.
