Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Congress Commitee (APCC) today asked the CPI(M) and its Polit Bureau member B Raghavulu to extend his constructive cooperation to the State Government, instead of resorting to mudslinging on various issues. In a letter to Mr Raghavulu, a copy of which was released to media here, (APCC) executive member Kolanukonda Shivaji said the CPI(M)leader had criticised the Congress time and again and recently said the party was wriggling out on issues like Youth Congress rally in Tirumala and other places. Mr Raghavulu had also criticised the statement of Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, who had alleged that the land struggle launched by the CPI(M) was an unruly step. Mr Shivaji said cases had been registered against Youth Congress members for their activities as per law. He asked Mr Raghavulu, who is also the CPI(M) State Secretary about his views on the suspension of Kerala Chief Minister Achutanandan and party State Secretary Pinnari Vijayan from the Polit Bureau for making wild allegations against each other. The CPI(M) Secretary should clarify on the issue before giving advices to the Congress, the APCC leader said. |
