Nasik: Three youths were arrested after a long chase and a school girl they had allegedly kidnapped for a ransom was rescued from Ojhar town about 21 kms from here, police said today.

The youths kidnapped the girl yesterday to extort Rs five lakh from the child's parents, police said.

Seeing that girl was being kidnapped in a car, people informed police, who gave a long chase to the car and succeeded in arresting the trio. The girl is safe and was handed over to her parents.
