dr_kalam_01New Delhi: Former President A P J Abdul Kalam has said that the law should take its own course with regard to film actor Sanjay Dutt who has been sentenced to six years imprisonment in 1993 Mumbai blasts case.

Asked had he been the Chief Justice of India would he have given clemency to Dutt, Kalam replied "No, I personaly believe ... See ... After all, law cannot be different. Justice has to be for every individual ... Whatever he deserves he must get it. It is very difficult for me to say whether X should get punishment of Y should not get punishment ...," he said participating in an NDTV programme after demitting the office of the President.
