Jammu: Security forces have foiled a bid by some Bangladeshi nationals to exfiltrate the other side of the International Border in Ramgarh sector, official sources said today.

A group of Bangladeshi nationals were trying to cross over to Pakistan via Basantar river on the International border in Nursury border out post in Ramgarh sector of Samba district last night when the BSF troops tracked them down through night vision devices, the sources said. The troops challenged them and later fired a few rounds, the sources said, adding they escaped under the garb of darkness.
