It’s burning up the grapevine but Shah Rukh Khan himself is maintaining a studied silence on the matter — till now.

Apparently King Khan has been approached to play a cameo in Danny Boyle’s next film ‘Slumdog Millionnaire’.

The film revolves around a slum kid who makes it big in a television show, of which SRK is slated to play the host.

My, my, that certainly has shades of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’! By the way, Boyle’s an established named in Hollywood, earlier having done films like ‘Trainspotting’, ‘A Life Less Ordinary’ and ‘The Beach’.

Word is that if Shah Rukh gives the nod, one schedule of the film will be shot in Mumbai this November.
