hillary_clintonWashington: The Democratic front runner for the Presidential election in 2008 Hillary Rodham Clinton has said that she was against government outsourcing to private companies and the practice will be halted if she comes to power.

".... We're going to stop outsourcing to private companies that are often less qualified and less accountable," Clinton said in a campaign speech to the Service Employees of the International Union Member Political Action Conference. "...to me it's a real simple question: Why on Earth would we pay a private sector employee more to do what a public sector employee was doing better?" she said.

Clinton has been under the scanner for not taking any sides in the outsourcing battle, she has earlier made statements opposing as well as supporting the outsourcing.

Clinton's major campaign contributors from the Indian diaspora have lead her to outspoken support to outsourcing on many occasions.
