He’s a hot-head alright, but not quite a hearthrob just yet.

At least back home in Kerala. While girls all over the country seem quite charmed by Sreesanth, the buzz is that the ladies in his own home town aren’t exactly bowled over by his antics.

During the recent Miss Kerala contest in Cochin, the models seemed a little uncomfortable posing with him.

“During the contest a few girls expressed their discomfort in being photographed with him. No one’s really sure why this happened, but he is considered a bit of a Casanova here.”

Says Rohini Idicula, who was crowned Miss Kerala, “I met Sreesanth once before he left for the World Cup and a few times at informal occasions. Frankly, I don’t see what the entire craze for him is about. None of the girls here worship him as such; in fact they love many Bollywod stars, but Sreesanth doesn’t stand a chance with them.”

Whatever the girls feel, Sreesanth has undeniably become one of Kerala’s biggest brand names.

Apparently he was gifted a villa in suburban Cochin sometime back by a construction company in return for a 3-year advertising contract.

The rates of the villa has shot up by nearly 4 times in the interim. Hopefully the girls in his new neighbourhood will see him in a better light.

...Jadeja’s son bats for Dhoni!

Former cricketer Ajay Jadeja’s 5-year-old son Aiman is a cricket buff already and has his list of favourite cricketers firmly prioritised.

Former Samata party president Jaya Jaitley, who is Aiman’s maternal grandmother, reveals, “Aiman has been a fan of Mahendra Singh Dhoni for the past two years. In fact, he keeps telling Ajay — ‘You are the best bapu (father), but you aren’t the best cricketer, because Dhoni is my favourite’.”

That’s not all, for if Jaya is to be believed, Aiman himself is a budding cricket player. “He loves playing cricket but he is also into golf and swimming,” says Jaya, adding that she too unwinds on a Sunday by going for a swim with her sprightly grandson.
