PTI

Mumbai: Load-shedding in Maharashtra has started again with the demand for power overshooting the supply, official sources said today.

The demand for power at present is estimated at about 13,200 MW while the supply is about 10,500 MW to 11,000 MW. The timetable for load-shedding on a daily basis will be announced locally, sources said.

Meanwhile, the power generation at the Dabhol power plant continued to be erratic. There was no generation reported on Monday. However, power supply was restored on Tuesday, sources said.
