Wednesday, October 24, 2007 09:07 [IST]
Oslo: India and Norway have decided to step up their bilateral economic relations. The decision to this regard was taken at the official level talks of Finance Minister P Chidambaram with his Norwegian counterpart Kristin Halvorsen and the Norwegian Minister of Environment and International Development Erik Solheim on the first day of his three-day official visit here yesterday. Chidambaram, accompanied by an official delegation, was received by Indian Ambassador Mahesh Sachdev and Deputy Secretary General in the Ministry of Finance Thorvald Moe at the airport.
