Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Government today transferred 14 IPS officers including six district police chiefs in yet another major reshuffle in the state.

IG, Railways Sutapa Sanyal has been transferred to PAC, Central Zone, while IG Economic Offence Wing (EOW) R N Singh has been shifted to PAC, East Zone. IG, Fire Services Abhay Shankar has been given the additional charge of Civil Defence Department whereas IG, technical services Renuka Mishra will be the new IG Railways.

SP, Intelligence, Faizabad, Kripashankar Singh has been sent to Baghpat. SP Barabanki Sachi Ghildiyal will take Singh's place in Faizabad.
SP Shravasti, S K Kaul has been shifted to training department as Assistant IG, Commandant 33 battalion PAC. Akhileshwar Ram Mishra has been sent as SP Shravasti.

SP Jhansi Veer Bahadur Singh has been sent to UP police headquarter at Allahabad in the same capacity, while Commandant 34 battalion PAC S K Bhagat has been sent to Jhansi as SP. SP Chandauli, Praveen Kumar has been sent to Barabanki as SP, while SP Railways Moradabad Luv Kumar will now be SP Chandauli and SP Baghpat K Egilersan has been made SP, Intelligence, Varanasi.

UP Power Corporation SP Raja Srivastava and SP Hardoi Ashok Kumar Tyagi have swapped places after transfer.
