Sunday, October 28, 2007 08:22 [IST]

Ghaziabad: The prime witness in Nitish Katara murder case, Ajay Katara, today accused former MP D P Yadav, father of main accused in the case Vikas Yadav, of using his estranged wife Madhu against him.

Ajay denied allegations that he had threatened his wife at her house in Rahispur village in Ghaziabad.

He told PTI over phone from Lucknow that he had already complained to Patiala house court in Delhi against the possibility of his being murdered by D P Yadav. He alleged that D P Yadav had influenced his wife against him.

Ajay had also filed a complaint with the police that he feared a threat to his life from D P Yadav and his wife Madhu.

The former MP had refuted the allegation.
