Yuvraj scores again
Sunday, October 28, 2007 11:31 [IST]

Mumbai: On Saturday evening, Yuvraj Singh finally got his wish when he met the sexy crooner, Beyonce Knowles. Needless to say, he seemed smitten. “She is truly charming, and it has been a great pleasure meeting her,” were his first words after the little chat and photo session he had with Beyonce, at the Grand Hyatt, prior to her concert.

“She told me how much she’s enjoying the spicy food, and of course, Mumbai,” said an ecstatic Yuvi. “I see all this hype around her and how well she is handling it at such a young age. She kind of reminds me of myself, because I have had to deal with it too, not once, but many times. I have learnt that it is essential to keep yourself grounded, despite all the acclaim. I think Beyonce is one star who is able to maintain her innocence, in spite of all the hype.”

Now, given a chance, the cricketer also wants to meet Hollywood actor George Clooney. “It would be great if I can be as charming as he is when I’m his age.” After the show, Beyonce also met up with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
