Patna: Kick-starting a campaign for ouster of Bihar's NDA Government led by Nitish Kumar by way of organising a Chetawani Rally here, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad today said the present dispensation has become irrelevant and it has lost moral authority to continue.
"This government has become absolutely incompetent. People's anger is brewing as it has failed to live upto their expectations. It should go," Prasad said addressing the gathering which he claimed was record-breaking among the rallies he had organised during his party rule for 15 years. "The Chetawani Rally was an attempt to caution the government to change its style of functioning.
Complete anarchy and chaos have gripped the state. The state government is a failure on all fronts," he said adding "this is Chetawani Rally (rally to warn) and if it (state government) fails to deliver forthwith, we would be holding a Bhagawan Rally (forcing the government to go) soon". "People are fed up with the state government's empty promises. Kumar had claimed to establish a rule of law within three months of the NDA coming to power. But the NDA which came to power accidentally accusing us of leaving the state under the grip of jungle raj has done nothing for the state," he said.
Prasad said "Enough is enough. The people of the state are not going to wait till the NDA completes its full tenure of five years. They are so angry that they want it to go the sooner the better."
