Dibrugarh: One hardcore ULFA militant was shot dead today in a joint operation by the army and police in Assam s Sibsagar district.
Official sources said that "sergeant major" Anirban Bosu was shot dead by a joint patrol of army and police at Kakotibari in the early hours today. The slain ultra's body was handed over to the police.
