Kerala govt to order probe into penstock tragedy

Palakkad: Kerala government has plans to order a comprehensive inquiry into the death of six KSEB employees due to the burst of a penstock pipe carrying water to Panniar power house in Idukki district, Electricity Minister A K Balan said here today.

The government was awaiting the preliminary report of experts probe into the September 17 incident and would decide what sort of a detailed inquiry was required after getting the report, Balan told reporters here.
