Fresh Taliban warning for Bhutto
Saturday, November 03, 2007 13:16 [IST]

Islamabad: After surviving attack on October 18 on her arrival in Pakistan, former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto has once again received a death threat from Taliban in Pakistan.

While issuing a death threat to Benazir, Taliban leaders have claimed that she already had an idea what's in there for her. They also added that if Bhutto has not learnt anything from that attack, she will soon realise the seriousness of it. It will be an acid test for former prime minister in her own country.

Meanwhile, Bhutto left the country for Dubai to meet her family members there. Bhutto, who survived the terror attack in Karachi on October 18 that killed nearly 140 people and injured hundreds more, said the restoration of democracy is a must to save Pakistan.

Bhutto left Pakistan for Dubai just two weeks after returning from eight years in self-exile, had said that she did not have any evidence to suggest the involvement of President Pervez Musharraf in the assassination attempt on her.
