Former Chief Justice Pathak dead

New Delhi: Former Chief Justice of India R S Pathak, who headed the panel to look into the controversial UN Oil-for-Food scam, died here yesterday following a heart attack.

Pathak, 82, was also President of the Tribune Trust. The eminent jurist breathed his last at the Max Hospital where he was admitted following a heart attack. His body was cremated this morning, family members said.
