Mumbai: Senior Shiv Sena leader and former minister Pramod Navalkar was today cremated at the Chandanwadi crematorium.
A large number of people including political leaders were present at the funeral. Prominent among those present included the Executive President of Shiv Sena Uddhav Thackeray, leader of the Opposition in the Legislative assembly Ramdas Kadam, Senior Sena leader Manohar Joshi and others.
Earlier, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Raj Thackeray paid a visit to the departed leader s house to condole his family.
Navalkar passed away yesterday at his residence following a heart attack.
