New Delhi: In an unwanted incident, Malaysian minister has warned Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi to stay away from Malaysia's treatment of its ethnic Indians.
Karuna had written a letter to Prime Minister to intervene and protect the rights of Tamils.
Karuna also said that Tamils are the largest group among Malaysia`s 1.8 million ethnic Indians and such incidents disturbs the people of Tamil Nadu.
The minister told Karuna to mind his own business. "This is Malaysia, not Tamil Nadu", the minister said. He also added that this has nothing to do with Karunanidhi.
Malaysia's warning to Karunanidhi has gone wrong with Indian politicians, as it created uproar in Parliament today on this issue.
MPs protest Malaysia's interference in India's internal affairs and going one step ahead BJP has demanded expulsion of Malaysia from Commonwealth.
