Thursday, December 13, 2007 22:55 [IST]

Kolkata: The Foward Bloc today accused its ally CPI (M) of deviating from the united stand of Left parties opposing the Indo-US nuclear deal and heading towards surrender.

Though the four Left parties have so far unitedly moved against the conspiratorial role of the Centre to implement the deal so far, CPI (M) was now deviating from it and heading towards surrender, Forward Bloc's West Bengal secretary Ashok Ghosh said today.

CPI (M) has been deviating from its opposition. At the same time, it is being observed that the party has been deviating from its oppositon to the issue and is heading towards surrender, he charged.

The AIFB's central lesadership, he said, had decided that if this continued, AIFB will withdraw support to the UPA government.
