Eid-ul-Zuha celebrated across India

New Delhi: Dressed in their best, Muslims across the country today celebrated the spirit of sacrifice as they thronged mosques and feasted on the occasion of Eid-ul -Zuha, the festival marking the close of the Haj pilgrimage.

Vice-President Hamid Ansari and former President A P J Abdul Kalam led the faithful in offering namaz at New Delhi Jama Masjid near Parliament House and Fathepuri Masjid in Old Delhi while the main draw for thousands was the Jama Masjid.
