Three persons found dead in Madurai

Madurai: Three persons were found dead under mysterious circumstances at different places in the city today, police said. A 62-year old utensil trader was found dead with injuries on the head at Pasumpon nagar.

Police recovered Rs.462 cash and a moped key from his pocket. It was not known whether he was a murder or an accidental death. Another person, Mariappan (42), was found dead with several head injuries in front of his house in the same area.

The body of a 45-year-old man was recovered at Alamaram bus stop in Anna Nagar area here this morning. He also had injuries on his body.
Cases have been registered and police were investigating.
