Amritsar: District police today found four artillery shells dating back to the 1971 war in a agriculture land here.
Senior Superintendent of Police Kanwar Vijay Partap Singh said found four condemned artillery shells dating back to the 1971 war were found at Kot Khalsa village when the land was being cultivated.
The matter was immediately brought into the notice of the police by the farmers.
Army experts said the four shells dated back to the 1971 war with Pakistan and were no more useful. They were nearly one feet long, added the SSP.
