New Delhi: The full Election Commission will visit Karnataka from Wednesday to review the preparation for Assembly elections expected to be held by May.

Chief Election Commissioner, N Gopalaswami, along with other two Election Commissioners, Navin Chawla and S Y Quraishi, will review preparation of the electoral rolls and general law and order situation, EC sources said.

During their two-day stay, the ECs would hold consultations with leaders of political parties and senior officials in the state, which has been placed under President's rule.

The state has an electorate of 4.29 crore, including 2.11 crore women voters.
