Four burnt to death in south Delhi

New Delhi: Four members of a family, including two children, were charred to death in the wee hours today when a fire broke out in their residence in a south Delhi locality.

The fire broke out at the residence of one Prem (32) in the Dakshinpuri area at around one am when the family was asleep, fire brigade officials said.

Badly burnt Prem, his wife Usha (30), Tannu (11) and Handa (10) were rushed to Safdarjung hospital where doctors declared them brought dead.
The reason for the fire was not immediately known.
